The Confederation of African Rugby announced the tournament dates and tournament draw for the up and coming CAR Trophy Tournament South.  The tournament to be played in Gaborone, Botswana kicks off on Monday July 20th and ends on Saturday July 25th.  Rugby Unions participating in the tournament are: Botswana, Madagascar, Mauritius, Reunion, Swaziland Tanzania Zambia and Zimbabawe.

 

 

 

 

Swaziland Rugby Union President announced the National Training Squad for the up and coming Confederation of African Rugby Tournament to be held at the end of July in Gaborone, Botswana.  The thirty six man training squad will be training together for the next nine weeks with the final playing squad to be announced at the end of June. 

 

 

 

 

 

Players at the National TrialsThe National Rugby Trials held on Saturday was attended by fourty eight players from around Swaziland.  The trials kicked off at 9.30am at the Vondo's ground in Malkerns. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Swaziland Rugby Union will be holding a National Trial weekend on the 9th & 10th of May.  Head Development Coach, Mario De Sousa announced the dates for the trials earlier today.  The trials are a part of the Rugby Unions preparations for the up and coming Confederation of African Rugby tournament to be held in Gaborone, Botswana in July.  We are calling all eligable players to attend the Rugby trials.  The trials weekend will be held at the Vondo's ground in Malkerns.  All players must be at the ground for 9.30am on Saturday for registration.

Chester Gina and Malindi DlaminiThe London Imperial Medical College Rugby team arrived in the Kingdom last Thursday on the last leg of their South Afican tour. Having played teams from Cape Town, George and Hazyview, the Medics last game would be in Swaziland against a Swaziland Presidents Select side.

 

 

Sizeze RWC2011 Gaborone BotswanaThe Swaziland National 15's side, Sizeze are out of the RWC2011 having been beaten by old adversaries the Botswana Vultures. The game took place over the weekend in Gaborone, Botswana.

 

The Swazi 7's side returned from the Kenya Safari 7's seeded 6th in Sub Saharan Africa.
