Correctional Services officers listen to Naomi du Pont during the Coaches WorkshopFriday saw the development coaches at the Correctional Services head quarters in Matsapha to hold a one day Rugby Coaches Workshop for Correctional Services officers. Thirty two offices attended the workshop.

Naomi du Pont with Aissistant Surperindendant Jabulani Kunene"The Correctional Services are ready for anything in 2011" these are the words of Aissistant Superintendant Jabulani Kunene. This was after the Rugby Coaching Day held at the Correctional Services headquarters in Matsapha.

The Likima Community invited the development coaches back for a second Community Coaching Session on New Years Eve. Following on from the success of the coaching session on the 17th of December, the Likima Community Sports Leader Sizakele Maseko asked the development coaches back for a second session and the final rugby coaching session of 2010.

29th December and the development coaches are in the Ngwazini Community. This is the third community to play host to a Community Rugby Coaching Day and all the participants were willing and eager to learn more about the game of rugby.

Monday December 27th, the development coaches made the journey down to the Nhlambeni Community to hold the second Community Rugby Coaching Days. Fourty seven players attended the coaching session where they were taught rugby basics and how to play Tag Rugby.

The Swaziland Rugby Union announced its intention to again hold the festive season Community Rugby Programme. Rugby Union President Michael Collinson made the announcement today at the Union's offices. "Last year we had a marvellous response from the people out in the rural areas to the Community Rugby Programme. And having contacted the community leaders again this year, everyone wants Rugby back in their community again this festive season" said Collinson. The Community Rugby Programme will kick off in Likima on Friday December 17th.
