Sigeja on the attack against St Bee'sAlthough fighting to the very end, it wasn't to be Sigeja's day on Monday. Playing in front of a very vocal and supportive crowd at the Mavuso Sports Stadium, the U/19's side could not match St Bee's experience.

Sigeja wearing their new kitBefore the kick off of the friendly played on Monday at the Mavuso Sports Stadium in Manzini between Sigeja, Swaziland U/19's Rugby Team and visiting team St Bee's from the UK, the Swaziland Rugby Union launched the new look kit for the U/19's side.

Michael Collinson the president of the Swaziland Rugby Union announced the team that will take on St Bee's College from the UK on Monday July 25th. "We are pleased to announce the names of the players who will take on St Bee's College on Monday and the Rugby Union would like to thank all the coaching staff who have been working with the U/19's squad for the past six weeks.

 

 

Monday July 25th at 2pm, Sigeja the Swaziland U/19's team will take on St Bee's College at the Mavuso Sports Stadium in Manzini. The team to take to the field on Monday will be named this afternoon. Rugby Union President, Michael Collinson will announce the team at 3pm at the Rugby Union's offices in Malkerns.

Sigeja, the U/19's side have been called to a National Training Session to be held on Saturday July 9th at the VOCTIM Sports Ground in Matsapha. Head of Coaching and Development, Naomi du Pont confirmed the coaching session today. "We have contacted the players and informed them of the time and venue. We expect a full turn out as we are preparing for the up and coming game to be played on Monday July 25th against the UK side St Bee's College" All players must report at the VOCTIM Sports Ground by 8.30am"

Saturday June 5th will see the U/19's Elite squad attend a training session at St Michael's High School ground in Manzini.  Following the training session the squad will play a game against a President's Select side.  This is part of the ongoing preparations for the up and coming games against two UK visiting sides to be played in July.
