Tournament winners The Rhino'sThe third Inyeti 7's Tournament played at the home of the Vondo's Rugby Club in Malkerns was to see the the Rhino's from Manzini lift the victors trophy for the second time. 












The Swaziland Rugby Union have announced the date for the third Inyeti 7's Rugby Tournament.  Head Development Coach, Mario De Sousa made the announcement earlier today.  The Inyeti 7's will be played on Friday May 22nd at the usual venue the Vondo's ground in Malkerns, kick off 6pm.  At this moment in time we have three confirmed teams and we are awaiting confirmation from the fourth Club, added De Sousa.

The Swaziland Rugby Union's Inyeti 7s Rugby Tournament to be played next Friday, 24th of April has been given a boost with two foreign teams participating.  Rugby Union President, Michael Collinson said he was happy to announce that a team from South Africa and a team from Mozambique will be travelling to the Kingdom to play in the Inyeti 7s.  Both teams confirmed their participation today.  We feel it is a testament to Swaziland Rugby Union's committment to raise Rugby awareness within Swaziland that teams are willing to make the journey and play in the Inyeti 7s, added Collinson.

Rugby Union President, Michael Collinson announced today the date for the second Inyeti 7's Tournament.  Following on from the success of the first tournament played last Friday, the Rugby Union have fixed the date for the second tournament of the series.  Friday 24th of April will be the date for the next Inyeti 7's and we will again be using the Vondo's Rugby Club field.  Rhino's team Captain confirmed the Rhinos will paricipate in the tournament and they will be ready and able to defend their Inyeti title.

The Manzini RhinosThe Manzini Rhinos raised the trophy at the first Inyeti 7's of 2009. The tournament kicked off at 6pm on a marvellous warm Friday evening. All four teams participating in the tournament brought plenty of support to cheer them on and the supporters were not let down.

Tokoloshi ParysThe Swaziland 7's side "Tokoloshi" returned from Parys in South Africa after participating in the Northern 7's Tournament.

The Swaziland Rugby Unions 7s side “Tokoloshi” beat the Limpopo Blue Bulls 49-26 in the Shield final at the Northern 7’s Tournament held at St Benedict’s School in Johannesburg South Africa over the last weekend.
