Eagles Rugby Football ClubRugby Union Vice President, Mr. Sibusiso Nkambule announced today the forming of a new Rugby Club in the countries capital Mbabane.  The announcement was made at the Rugby Union offices in Malkerns. 






The "Teachers Inter Club Rugby Tournament" to be played on Friday August 21st has so far received six confirmed entries for the tournament.  Tournament organiser, Development Coach, Malindi Dlamini confirmed the following Clubs had registered for the tournament.  Vondo's, Rhino's, Lion's, Matsapha, Wolves and the Tigers.  Four other Clubs have expressed an interest in participating, but have yet to confirm in writing.

Try time Vondo'sFriday saw the Vondo's play hosts to the visiting Wolves Rugby Club.  The game was the second time the two Clubs had met this year and the Vondo's were looking to take revenge after their defeat at the Wolves ground in Bhunya earlier in the year.








Black Rhino's girls sideThe second part of the double header played at the Vondo's ground in Malkerns, the Black Rhino's girls from Manzini side took on the Vondo's. Both teams had not met before, but five of the girls, three from the Rhino's and two from the Vondo's have trained together in the girls Elite squad.  Malindi Dlamini blew the whistle to get the game underway.  Both sides seemed a little apprehensive, but soon settled down into the game.
