The first of the weekends Malayisha National Rugby League fixtures threw up a suprise for all watching. The Hippos from Dvokolwako took on the mighty Titans from UNISWA. Not many people in the crowd gave the Hippos much of a chance, but they were wrong. The game was played at the Titans home ground at the UNISWA Sports Ground in Kwaluseni.

 

 

 

 

 

MNRL 27th February 2012Following Saturdays MNRL fixture between the Titans and Scotianz Kings. The Scotianz Kings moved up to second place on the log and the Titans left the bottom to move up to third.

The derby match between the two learning instituation was billed to be a BIG game and it lived up to all the hype.

The Malayisha National Rugby League game played on Saturday at the UNISWA Sports Ground in Kwaluseni between the Vondo's from Malkerns and the Hippo's from Dvokolwako ended in a 50-5 win for the Vondo's. The Hippo's were confident and ready for a hard game, but it was not going to be their day. The Vondo's ran riot in every aspect of the game.

The Malayisha National Rugby League kicks off tomorrow, Saturday February 18th with one fixture. The Vondo's will be up against The Hippo's at the UNISWA Sports Ground in Kwaluseni. "This is the first game of the second round of the 2011/2012 MNRL and everyone is excited to see how both clubs will play. The layoff over the festive season went on two weeks longer than we had thought due to lack of game venues...

 

 

 

Malayisha National Rugby League 2011/2012Saturday February 4th will see the Swaziland Rugby Union kick off the 2012 leg of the Malayisha National Rugby League. Following the short break over the festive season the second leg of the 2011/2012 league kicks off at the Correctional Services Sports Ground in Matsapha.
