The Swaziland Rugby Union are to hold a Rugby Indaba for coaches and players during December. Head of Coaching and Development Naomi du Pont made the announcement today at the Rugby Union's offices in Malkerns. "We want to get the buy in of all the coaches and players. The Rugby Union want their input on how the rugby union is performing. There are many questions we want to ask the players about rugby and their own clubs. The Rugby Indaba will be a perfect forum for this" said du Pont. Coaches Indaba will be on Friday December 9th followed by the Players Indaba on Friday December 16th.

The Swaziland Rugby Union today announced the date for the next Rugby Fun Day. "Following on from the success of the last Rugby Fun Day held at the VOCTIM Sports Ground, we have decided to hold a second Rugby Fun Day to launch the 2011/2012 Malayisha National Rugby League. The next Rugby Fun Day will take place on Saturday August 27th" said Rugby Union head development coach Naomi du Pont

Rugby players within the Kingdom have got together and kick started 'Swaziland Rugby players' on Facebook. The players spokes persons Matthew du Pont and Wilson Dlamini made the announcement at the Rugby Union offices today. "The Swaziland Rugby Players' Facebook page is for ALL players in and out of the country both male and female to get updates and make comments on what is happening within Rugby in Swaziland. We want players both old and young to be a part of Swaziland Rugby" said Dlamini.

The Swaziland Rugby Union in partnership with the SKRUM Programme will be holding a Rugby Fun Day on World Aids Day, Wednesday December 1st at the Manzini Trade Fair Sports Ground. Rugby Union Vice Chairman Sibusiso Nkambule made the announcement today at the Rugby Union offices. "We are inviting schools to send pupils and teachers along to the Rugby Fun Day. We want everyone to play rugby, have some fun and it will be a great opportunity to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS"

The playing area at the Mavuso Sports CentreFollowing lengthy discussions the Swaziland Rugby Union are proud to announce that the Mavuso Sports Centre situated in the city of Manzini will be the new home of Swaziland Rugby.  Rugby Union President Michael Collinson made the announcement today at the Rugby Union offices in Malkerns.
