The Community Coaching kicked off in the Gundvwini community this week. The SKRUM coaches and volunteers were welcomed with huge smiles and lots of clapping.

The Titan's with the SKRUM 7's trophySaturday saw the university side, the Titan's prove far too strong for the opposition when they lifted the trophy at the end of the 2014 SKRUM 7's tournament played at the university sports ground in Kwaluseni.

Members of the Khubuta Community at the end of the coaching session.The coach's made the drive to Khubuta today to hold a Community Coaching session. This was our first visit to Khubuta community and what a day it was.

The SRU with the SKRIM Programme kicked off the Community Rugby Coaching session with a visit to the Gundvwini Community. When schools close the attention then turns to taking the game of rugby and the SKRUM Programme out into the country by visiting the communities. The community session have proven very popular and this visit to Gundvwini is the coach's first to this area.

Following the visit to the Kingdom by ex All Black number eight Zinzan Brooke and representatives from Touraid, the Swaziland Rugby Union were informed that Sidvokhodvo Nazarene Primary had been selected to play in the Abbey Touraid 7's tournament to be played at the Allianz Stadium in London. The tournament will be played on Saturday March 29th. SRU President Michael Collinson said he was delighted that Abbey Touraid had selected a school from Swaziland to participate in the tournament.

 

 

It was announced today that Sizeze Eswatini would be taking on Lesotho in an international friendly to take place in Lesotho. The date for the game has been confirmed as Saturday February 22nd. SRU President, Michael Collinson confirmed the fixture. "After lengthy discssions with the Federation of Lesotho Rugby, we are pleased to announce that Swaziland will play two games against Lesotho.

 

 

 

A few of the players collecting litter along the highway at Hlane Game ReserveFollowing a National Team training session held on Saturday morning at the UNISWA sports ground in Kwaluseni, the players made the long drive down to the Hlane Game Reserve to pick up litter along the highway which cuts through the reserve.

 

Try time at the Sidvokodvo Nazarene Primary Tag TourmamentSidvokodvo Nazarene Primary situated near the town of Luve held a 7's Tag Rugby Tournament on Friday. Four teams partiucipated in the tournament.

Friday saw three schools participate in a Inter Schools Tag Rugby Tournament. Seven Holy Founders Primary were the host school and welcomed Mphetseni Primary from Malkerns and Entuthukweni Primary from Mbabane. The Tag toournament was a 7's format with both boys and girls teams participating.
