Head Development Coach, Mario De Sousa welcomed the players and thanked them for attending the trials.  We are here today to select a training squad for the up and coming Confederation of African Rugby Tournament to be held in Gaborone, Botswana.  And at the end of the day we will select thirty six of you to join the training squad, said De Sousa.  De Sousa then introduced the National Coach, Steve Reynolds.  Reynolds thanked the players for their committment in attending the National Trials.  We have nine weeks to train together before we leave for the CAR Tournament in Botswana.  Should you be selected today, we will be training every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays.  We will need your full committment to attend all or as many training sessions as possible.
