St Pauls Methodist High SchoolSt Paul's Methodist High School proved too strong for the opposition on Wednesday at the White Rhino's Rugby Club Inter Schools Rugby Tournament held at the Manzini Club ground in Manzini.  The round robin tournament saw St Pauls Methodist High, Hillside High and Manzini Central High schools in action for the first time.

The White Rhino's Rugby Club is the latest Rugby Club to apply to affiliate to the Swaziland Rugby Union and will join the Black Rhino's also from the City of Manzini.  Swaziland Rugby Union President, Michael Collinson welcomed the players and coaches to the Rugby tournament and thanked them for their committment to playing Rugby.  Manzini has a large population and the Swaziland Rugby Union thought it would be beneficial to the game of Rugby to have two Rugby Clubs within the City.  With this in mind the Rugby Union have split the City in two with Manzini North, the White Rhino's and Manzini South, the Black Rhino's.  We have consulted both parties and I'm pleased to say everyone is happy with the arrangement, said Collinson.

The tournament was well attended with spectators from all three schools to cheer on their players.  Even the 39 degree heat of Manzini didn't deter the palyers as all three teams played fast running Rugby.  Head Development Coach, Mario De Sousa said he was very pleased with the Rugby he saw and the way in which the players played the game.  All the games were hard, but played in true Rugby spirit and the players must be congratualated for that.  The game of Rugby in and around Manzini is growing so fast and we welcome the forming of a second team.  With player numbers increasing on a weekly basis, there is certainly room for both Clubs, said De Sousa.
