St Mary's and Ezulwini Valley with the kit donated by SOS IRB KitaidWednesday saw the Club Inter Schools Rugby Tournaments kick off at St Mary's Primary in Lobamba. The Club Inter Schools Tournaments will be played on a fortnightly basis at Clubs throughout the Kingdom.  Saints Rugby Club were chosen to host the first of the tournaments and the host school was to be St Mary's Primary.

The Rugby Tournaments will be played on a round robin basis and the three schools selected to participate in the first tournament were, St Mary's Primary, Ezulwini Catholic Primary and Ezulwini Valley Primary. All three schools started playing Rugby at the beginning of 2007 and the competition was going to be tough from the start, said Head Development Coach Mario De Sousa.  The tournament kicked off in torrential rain, but this didn't dampen any of the players spirits.  The first game saw Ezulwini Valley take on Ezulwini Catholic. From the start both teams tried to run the ball and play quick passing Rugby, but the rain made for too many handling errors.  Final score was 5-0 to Ezulwini Valley.  The second game put St Mary's up against a confident Ezulwini Valley, but again handling errors made for a scrappy game.  Final score was to be a 5-5 draw.  The third and final game of the round robin was to be St Mary's against Ezulwini Catholic.  Although St Mary's played far better Rugby, the final score was to be only a 5-0 win to St Mary's.  The weather changed and the rain stopped for the Final which saw a highly motivated St Mary's take to the field against Ezulwini Valley.  The weather change brought the best out of the St Mary's side who moved the ball and used every inch of the field.  Ezulwini Valley couldn't answer St Mary's confidence filled running and ended up losing 25-5.  All three teams were given Rugby kit donated by the IRB SOSKitaid programme.  All five Coaches agreed the Man of the Tournament should go to Thomas Maseko from the Ezulwini Catholic Primary side.  St Mary's will play the winners of the second Saints Rugby Club Inter Schools Tournament to be played between, Elangeni Primary, Ezulwini Community Primary and Eqinisweni Primary. The eventual winners will represent the Saints Rugby Club at the Club U/14s Club Tournament.Ezulwini Valley PrimaryEzulwini Catholic PrimaryTournament winners, St Mary's PrimarySt Mary's player cutting through the trafficSt Mary's player beating a Ezulwini Valley playerEzulwini Valley player going for the gap against St Mary'sEzulwini Catholic on the attack against St Mary's
