Sidvokhodvo Nazarene Primary to represent Swaziland in the UK

Posted in:

Following the visit to the Kingdom by ex All Black number eight Zinzan Brooke and representatives from Touraid, the Swaziland Rugby Union were informed that Sidvokhodvo Nazarene Primary had been selected to play in the Abbey Touraid 7's tournament to be played at the Allianz Stadium in London. The tournament will be played on Saturday March 29th. SRU President Michael Collinson said he was delighted that Abbey Touraid had selected a school from Swaziland to participate in the tournament.

This is an amazing opportunity for the young players from Sidvokhodvo Nazarene Primary. The Abbey Touraid team visited several schools and participated in the schools coaching sessions. Before their departure, the team informed me that one school from Swaziland may be selected to travel to the UK and participate in the Abbey Touraid 7's tournament. We were delighted to be considered and amazed when we received the email informing us Sidvokhodvo Nazarene Primary had been selected. We will now work with the school to select a side and coach the players.
