Rugby Union get ready for Community Rugby

The coaches at the Rugby Union are gearing up for the Christmas Community Rugby sessions which kick off on Saturday December 10th. The coaches plan to hold a two day rugby coaching sessions in each community. Head of Coaching and Development Naomi du Pont said " We have been invited to eleven community centres around the country with more community leaders confirming later this week. The Community Rugby Programme has proven very successful with communities wanting to set up their own Rugby Clubs.

 

 

 

We will be out in the communities all the way through December including the festive season. This year we plan to hold Tag Rugby Tournaments in each community. The prizes will be kit donated by the LV=SOSKitaid Programme. We are pleased to announce that the newly qualified 'Youth Coaches' will be out there with us this year"
