The Elephants kicked off and caught their own kick and ran into the righthand corner for a try! The Rangers players seemd dumbstruck and so did many of the spectators. The Rangers didn't take long to re-group and ran in a try of their own three minutes into the game. Un-forced handling errors from both sides made for a stop, start game. At halftime the scores were level 5 v 5.

The second half again saw un-forced errors from both sides, but it was to be the Elephnats who broke the deadlock and run over for a try in the seventh minute. From the kick off, the Rangers knocked on, the referee played advantage and the Elephants were over the try line again. The game seemed to calm down and hard defending from both sides kept the sides equal. The final whistle saw the Rangers pull a remarkable win out of the bag. Final score, Elephants 20 v Rangers 30
